Matt Carpenter got kicked off of "You're the One That I Want" and there is basically no good reason to keep watching that show!

30 weeks pregnant today, 10 to go. It's getting close!! Still growing. Whew!

So, for those of you who were on Kids Camp 2003 Brown Team, I have some news for you.....

Matt Carpenter, a.k.a. MIGHTY VOLT, has made it to Hollywood on the show "You're the One That I Want."

How awesome is that?? I was watching it a friend's house and I thought, " that looks a lot like Matt Carpenter." And it was!!

Check it out: http://www.nbc.com/Grease

They don't have contestant profiles up yet, but it says they are coming soon.

On a sidenote, my Matt and I went to Atlanta last weekend to see the new Cirque show. Who was sitting 5 seats down from us?

JANE FONDA

Oh yes, the monster-in-law herself!

It's a......

It's a girl!

We're so excited. Still loving every minute of this crazy and exciting time.

Name is almost picked. Pretty sure what it will be, but not 100%.

I'm not going to post the picture showing it's a girl b/c somehow that just doesn't feel appropriate. So here are her little feet:

Elizabeth's Culinary Debut...

As many of you know, my sister is in culinary school. She wants to make wedding cakes. Well, she made her culinary debut 2 weeks ago at a friends's wedding. I am so proud of her. She told the girl "no" a million times b/c she hasn't taken all the classes and labs she needs to be able to confidently make an entire cake, much less a 5 layer HUGE wedding cake.

I am happy to report that after a sleepless night of baking, re-baking (rookie mistakes) and decorating, she pulled it off. And she didn't just pull it off, it was beautiful. Proud sister I am. If it were normal circumstances, she would have had several days to bake and decorate. She only had 24 hours. Not to shabby for her first time!

Here's a pic:

Oh, and Matt and I found out what we're having, but I'm making myself post this first since I've been meaning to do it for a week now!!

Christmas Decoration Countdown

So much has happened since my last post.

We moved into our new house!! I love it, but it has a long way to go! Nothing on the walls yet, empty dining room, no blinds on the windows. One step at a time.

We sold our old house!! Closed on it Tuesday. What an answered prayer. Thank you to all who prayed and encouraged! I only had one breakdown about the possibility of 2 payments. It never happened. Wonderful!!

My belly is slowly growing. Regular pants are a little too tight. Maternity pants are way too big (and too short for my long legs!) We find out what we're having in 2 weeks (the 16th.) I'm so excited! Becca and Rashel, you have some major self-control for not finding out. Not even an option for us. I still have a strong feeling of what I think the baby is, but I will definitely be excited either way.

I'm so thankful for great moms all around me who I can talk to and ask crazy questions to. Keep the advice coming. I don't like surprises! I can't believe I'm almost half-way through this pregnancy. It has flown by. I'm loving it and trying to enjoy as much as I can. I think I'm feeling the baby move. Very awesome! I'm ready for Matt to be able to feel it, but it will be a few weeks for sure.

I get this email every Thursday that tells me how big the baby is, what is developing, what I may be feeling, etc. The best part of the email is that it also tells me how big the baby is by comparing it to a food item. Usually a vegetable or fruit. Bubba asks me every Thursday, "what food is it this week?" Well, I'm happy to report that I now have a large sweet potato-sized being growing inside me. Quite a long way from the lentil bean it was the first week!

Matt is already on a countdown for when we can put up the Christmas tree and decorations. Last year, we put it up 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. I caved and said we could do it, as long as the blinds stayed closed until after Thanksgiving. That husband of mine!!

Ok, I have to get back to work. We don't have internet at the new house yet, so I'm posting at my desk. Don't tell Earl!
